We're here to help others ...
At Better Prospects Recruitment Ltd we always want to 'put something back' into our local community.
The Pepper Foundation is a registered charity that supports funding for the nursing care for children with life limiting and, in some cases, terminal illnesses. Providing constant 'on call' professional care ensures that a child's life, however much time they have, is made as happy as possible.
Just as crucially, their team provides emotional support and respite for the families who have to deal with the daily strain and trauma of the situation. This includes providing 'time out' for the parents, and play therapy sessions for siblings, who may feel either sidelined by the overwhelming situation that surrounds them, or are struggling to cope with the pre and post bereavement feelings.
We are having our annual Charity Fair on Thursday 3rd November 2011 11am - 3pm Please put the date in the diary.

November 2008
This year we had a sale of Christmas cards, gift ideas and stationery provided by Phoenix Trading for sale to our clients and candidates along with a festive glass of wine and mince pies! We are making a donation to Pepper instead of sending out Christmas cards so along with a contribution from the Phoenix Trader we were able to give Pepper a cheque for £150. |

To celebrate 20 years in business, we held a ‘Clients v Candidates Rounders Tournament’ in May.
The competition was high but the skill level was dubious….!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves on one of our few pleasant summer evenings. A raffle was held for Pepper that raised £90 and we matched that to donate £180 and then everyone tucked into a well earned bar-b-que. |

December 2006
We have always supported various charities particularly around the Christmas period and last year all our team found that the Pepper Foundation (which is based in Berkhamsted) seemed particularly appropriate. With the support and generosity of clients and staff, we were able to give them an array of gifts for them to use as tombola prizes and a cheque that equates to 10 hours of specialist nursing care. |

The Amersham branch manager, Jo O'Reilly (centre), presented Val Bevan(right), Pepper Trustee and Liz Clarke (left), Pepper Fundraising Coordinator, with a cheque for £150 together with a wonderful array of gifts donated by staff and clients including soft toys, wine and a hamper. |
